My interview with Voice of America Urdu was broadcast today on Geo Television. Many thanks to Raza Naqvi, who conducted the interview and allowed me to discuss my motivations behind starting CHUP. Although I cringe watching myself on video, it was a segment that had a good underlying message, and I’m really grateful that I was given the opportunity.
Honestly, none of this would have been possible without the support of my family and friends, and without you – all the followers of this site – so thank you. I constantly strive to make the material of this site better, so please feel free to leave comments on this post with further suggestions.

@ Interesting revelation,
Developped countries tell the truth based on
concrete evidence and documented proves,
whereas in developping countries its rare !
A very typical USA concept of the world
You know my views on Bhuttos & PPP.
btw, your photo, very charming ! !

I’m very proud of you and keep up the good work!
!!vow!!
that will surely give a real boost to daily traffic on your blog.
i was not expecting a woman representing pakistani bloggers.
@zaheer, jeeeez are you still living in stone age? :{
This is amazing! Your interview was put together really well.
Wow, Kalsoom, you are a rockstar! Congrats on the recognition of your work! (and p.s. you look beautiful!)
I would just like to second Imran’s response above to Zaheer’s comment. Kalsoom’s gender is irrelevant to her work and this site’s purpose.
Well done Ms K. Geo has a vast viewership all over the world & this should hopefully galvanize the Youth to get involved in Changing Up Pakistan (CHUP). First & foremost, by being Tolerant & understanding of others Political, Social & Religious views. By listening to others, one keeps learning & begins the long Journey to understanding Mankind which one discovers over time that nothing can be viewed in Black & White.
If you don’t mind me saying, you are not only Intelligent but also very Pretty.
Keep it up & good luck to CHUP.
Proud 2B a Paki
@Kalsoom
being a humble Urdu poet, am I permitted to dedicate
a small ghazal to some one ?

@To an unknwon Greek Godess

Kalsoom,
Always proud of your efforts. You are a role model to all the youth (even those that do not always agree with your political analysis). May God shower all His blessings upon you.
Regards
@ Rafay,
Your words are beautiful. I hope you can translate for the non-Urdu visitors.
Great job!! Kalsoom, you truly marveled at answering every question without getting ruffled. Geo has a huge audience in Pakistan and abroad and this interview provided you the exposure and the opportunity to reach out to many more of such viewers.
@ Tariq,
Oh la la !
its impossible to translate Urdu poetry, to any other
language, because other languages simply do’nt have
the same degrees of expressions and sophisticated
emotions with the highest perfection, I have
just translated the theme of my two couplets
If a dew drop falls out of your palm
will brighten my enthusiatic desire
amidst your appearence
I wished blossom’s opening be more fresher,
but what to do, silvery brightness
comes only by night
